Zyprexa (Generic Zyprexa)

Generic Zyprexa is a brand name of a medication called Olanzapine. It is used to treat major depressive disorder in adults. It helps to relieve sadness, anxiety, and stress. This medication is not approved for the treatment of the following conditions:

  • Schizophrenia
  • Major depressive disorder
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Epilepsy
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder

How to Use:

  • Take it by mouth once or twice per day. Do not take more than one dose in 24 hours.
  • Take this medication with food. However, you may reduce the amount of food you eat and do not use it for more than 24 hours.
  • Do not take Olanzapine with a heavy or high-fat meal.

Warnings and Precautions:
